Who are these guys, anyway?

RodMan is the solid, credible looking, easily underestimated one who knows more than the law allows about most anything you can think of.  Bob tags along after the RodMan offering commentary and advice that’s marginally useful and generally unnecessary often as not.   

Bob and the RodMan have worked together and been close friends long enough to trust each other … an enviable circumstance in the building trade.  The Bob and RodMan Home Show has been rocking along in one iteration or another for around 20 years.  Both these guys have extensive experience in construction and have developed skills as builders, remodelers and broadcasters … the latter with decidedly mixed results.

RodMan is a CABO certified Home Inspector with additional training in residential appraisal; knows what there is to know about the hands-on protocol of purchasing, renovating and selling homes; is an avid outdoorsman who has published articles in sporting type magazines; has an encyclopedic memory in which lurks a working knowledge of any subject that comes up; is a student of theology; carves beautiful duck decoys; and is possessed of Job’s endurance as evidenced by his capacity to put up with Bob’s foolishness.

Bob's got Master Licenses as a Plumber, an Electrician and an HVAC Contractor.  Bob and his partner, C.J., have retired from the roofing business they ran for years.  They now renovate residential properties with RodMan.

Both the RodMan and Bob hope you will do them the honor of becoming a regular Listener.  Their intent is to act as a reliable source for the referral of individuals and companies who can be counted on to offer you and other Listeners genuine value.  Bob and the RodMan don’t advertise for anyone with whom they aren’t familiar and they make themselves available should any problem arise between a Sponsor and a Home Show Listener. That is to say, should a problem arise, Listeners can count on RodMan and Bob to step in and see that things get set right.

Bob and the RodMan  think of their Listeners, their Advertisers and themselves as harmonious parts of the Bob and RodMan radio family.  They are grateful when you're able to make time for a visit during the regular Saturday morning broadcasts and look forward to your calls, comments, questions and suggestions.
